Safety is included in all aspects of on the job training. Length - six weeks, 40 hours per week in combination of classroom lectures and paid on-the-job training at NCTAP partner facilities. Classroom instruction - one full day per week at WTCC for Transportation Technology instruction combined with an online course in transportation processes Workplace instruction - depending on the activities of each NCTAP partner, preapprentices will gain knowledge in a range of automotive services including: understanding basic vehicle repairs, oil changes, tire rotations, and filter replacement.
